Seoul managed to scrape through against their cross-town rivals.
Choi Chul-won: (8) Made some decent stops when the home side were on top. Kept us in the game at times.
Kim Jin-ya: (8) Worked hard on the wing and got forward plenty of times. Good shift from him.
Hwang Hyun-soo: (9) Looked like the Hwang of old today. Bossed the defence and got himself a well taken goal from a corner to win the game. M.O.T.M.
Park Seong-hoon: (6) Out of position on a couple of occasions but overall did okay.
Ahn Jae-min: (5) Struggled to keep up with the pace of the game. Uninspiring performance from him.
Shigehiro: (4) Poor from him today. Seemed to be a yard off the pace even against the lower league side. Not up to par as of yet for Seoul.
Hwang Do-yun: (6) Had a decent enough game but seemed to play it safe too often. Had a shot in a good area fly over the bar.
Kim Gyeong-min: (5) Struggled to have any chance against his marker and produced little.
Han Seung-gyu: (4) Captain for the day but still very poor. Should have scored in the first half but somehow blazed the ball over when it looked easier to find the net.
Willyan: (6) Not his usual self but still looked a danger with the ball at his feet.
Kim Shin-jin: (5) Lamppost up top. Little movement or quality.
Subs:
Son Seung-beom: (7) Was nice and direct after coming on. Ran at his marker and wasn’t afraid to have a dig.
Stanislav Iljutcenko: (5) Didn’t really have time to make an impact.
Cho Young-wook: (5) Had a couple of runs down the wing but they came to nothing.
Aleksandar Palocevic: (5) Had very little impact.
Manager: (7) Got the job done but saw his team getting overrun at times in the first half. Hwang Hyun-soo saved him from what could have been a stick situation had the game gone into extra-time.
